Adolescence can be a time of life which comes with more demands than ever. Young people in this phase are trying to find their place within their family, school, and peer group. They are forming the beginnings of their adult identity as well as making the transition into young adulthood. They may expect more freedom and privileges, but struggle with more responsibility. Parent Line also recognises that adolescence can be a whole new phase for parents - not just young people -bringing with it new joys, challenges, lessons and adjustments to family relationships. |
