About Us

Parent Line is a telephone counselling service for parents and carers of children aged 0-18 in NSW.  Parent Line has been supporting NSW parents for many years, and moved to offering 24-hour services in late 2007.  We are funded by the Department of Community Services under the Families NSW strategy.  Parent Line is auspiced & managed by CatholicCare.

One of the benefits of offering a state-wide service is that we can also offer highly accessible information for professionals working with children and families.  We have an ever-growing database of referral services which our counselling team access to help clients find local services.  We are also happy to help professionals to locate services, and at times provide advice for workers on how to support their clients with parenting.
