The Permanent Family Placement Program offers permanent family care for children aged 0-12 years unable to live with their own families and for whom restoration to the birth family is inappropriate, or has been unsuccessful. Children are placed for the duration of their dependent years. The Program aims to provide secure and stable family life with encouragement of access/contact with the birth family for identity purposes. Referrals are only for children with Permanent Care Orders.
