CatholicCare's Men and Family Relationship Services offer a variety of Parent Education and Family Skills Workshops for men. These include:
123 Magic (Just for Dads)
This is a popular and successful parenting program based on the work of US Psychologist Dr Tom Phelan. It assists dads to develop a better relationship with their children, understand the root of “naughty” behaviour and minimise it, as well as encourage positive behaviour and develop emotional intelligence in their children.
Hey, Dad!
This is a program designed for men to explore the challenges of fathering... and who want to share the experience of being a dad…and enhance their fathering.
Keeping Kids In Mind
This is a dynamic 5 week course aimed at assisting separated/divorced parents to support their children through the changes. It examines issues such as loss and grief, attachment, reslience and conflict resolution.
Staff are available to work with other services/organisations to develop and/or facilitate programs.
