This program provides crisis/emergency and temporary care for children aged 0-12 years residing in Southwest and Inner West Sydney. Planned respite/weekend care (usually one weekend per month) is also available.
Children may require care because of family crisis, illness, parents’ inability to cope or where the Department of Community Services is involved. Care can be from overnight to three months, by request/agreement from parents. Medium term or bridging placements are also considered upon referrals from local Department of Community Service Offices and where appropriate case plans are in place.
